Proper Games is operated by Mardles Life Limited. We use personal information you provide when making a booking or submitting an enquiry to administer your enquiry or booking, take and reconcile payments where applicable, communicate with you about your event, meet our legal and accounting obligations, and deal with any subsequent support or dispute.
If you submit our enquiry form, we store your name, email address, event date if supplied, your question and the date you accepted this Privacy Notice. We may also store the referring site and campaign tags associated with your visit so we can understand which advertising generated the enquiry. We use these details to respond and to keep in touch about the event you asked us about.
If you start the booking process but do not complete it, we may temporarily store anonymous booking selections such as event date, event type, Mini Golf package, selected extras, venue town/postcode, booking step reached and campaign/referral information. We do not include your name, email address, telephone number or home address in these incomplete booking drafts. Active drafts are retained for up to 30 days so we can understand demand and improve the booking process, and are marked as converted if you proceed to a booking.
If you enter a Proper Games prize draw, we store the information required to administer the draw, including your name, email address, event date, event type and event location, together with the date you accepted the applicable terms and Privacy Notice. Marketing consent is optional and recorded separately. We use competition entry information to run the draw, contact the winner, understand demand and, only where you separately opt in, send Proper Games offers and event ideas.
Payments are processed securely by Revolut. Proper Games does not store your card details.
We also use privacy-conscious first-party website analytics to understand how the site is being used. We record page views, booking-button clicks, enquiry submissions, referring website domains and campaign parameters such as UTM tags. We also use the Google Ads tag to measure whether advertising leads to enquiries or booking requests. Google may receive information about page visits and successful conversion events for this purpose. A short-lived daily visitor identifier is generated on our server from request information so we can estimate visitor numbers without storing your raw IP address in the analytics database.
Booking, enquiry and operational information is retained only for as long as reasonably required for customer service, event administration, accounting, legal and legitimate business purposes. Access is restricted to authorised Proper Games administrators.
